Akwa United center back Oshomo Olamilekan has urged the fans not to relent in their commitment to the club after experiencing a terrible start to the season.

The Ondo-born defender made this known to vcsports.sport.blog on Sunday, after his side’s 3-2 defeat to last season’s champions Enyimba Football Club of Aba at the Enyimba International Stadium.

The defeat was the second of the Promise Keepers’ opening three fixtures, leaving the Akwa Ibom based side bottom on the log with a single point from possible nine.

However, the former MFM and Crown FC man believes the team can bounce back in their next game as they will be welcoming Shooting Stars Sport Club of Ibadan in a mouth-watering clash at the Eket Stadium.
