Plateau United central defender Christopher Nwaeze has expressed hope of helping his team get all three points when they host Sunshine Stars in their Nigeria Premier Football League Match-week four tie on Sunday.

The former Akwa United player said this in an exclusive interview with vcsports.sport.blog on Friday afternoon. He said the team had put behind them the 1-0 defeat they suffered away at Bendel Insurance last weekend , and will do everything to ensure they get the win in their next game.
“We don’t need a draw. I will do everything within my power to help the team win.
“Against Bendel Insurance, we went all out to win the game but it didn’t turn out as expected, but our fans should come out on Sunday to support us against Sunshine Stars because we will win for them”, he added.

Nwaeze was a member of the home based Eagles that failed to qualify for the 2023 African Nations Championship after losing via penalties to the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
Plateau United are 17th on the table with three points from three games.
